Our apology was accepted and we hope to continue our relationship with Ngai Tahu to maintain this historic site. Shotover River Access - IMPORTANT  | If anyone is going into the middle section of the Shotover ( from the Skippers Bridge to Deep creek, where the rafting section begins) they need to contact Skippers Canyon Jet before they get on the river. This can be done by calling into their base on the way into the river (about 1km past deep creek, look out for the signs) or phoning them before you go on 03 442 9434. This is very important, so make sure you spread the word. If we want to continue using this fantastic piece of river we need to maintain a good relationship with other river users. |
